Oligonucleotide Microarrays

Oshima T, Wada C, Kawagoe Y, Ara T, Maeda M, Masuda Y, Hiraga S, Mori H. (2002. Genome-wide analysis of deoxyadenosine methyltransferase-mediated control of gene expression in Escherichia coli. Molecular Microbiology 45, 673-695) have measured transcriptional activity in dam mutants grown under a variety of conditions using high density oligonucleotide arrays.

Løbner-Olesen, A., Marinus, M.G. and Hansen, F.G. 2003. Role of SeqA and Dam in Escherichia coli gene expression- a global/microarray analysis. Proc.Natl.Acad.Sci. USA, 100, 4672-4677) have measured global transcription in seqA, dam, aroK and Dam-overproducing strains using Affymetrix gene chips.
