Description

This course has a journal club format. Every week a paper from the recent prokaryotic genetics literature is discussed by a group of students, faculty and postdoctoral fellows at the Amherst and Worcester campuses. The two groups are joined by video conferencing. A different participant will present a paper each week. Students are expected to present at least one paper of their choice during the semester. The basis for grading will be based mostly on the presentation as well as participation in the discussion.
